Christopher VanderReyden is the creative force and co-founder of Lakeshore Lifestyles Company, a brand inspired by the beauty and spirit of waterfront living. Born in Lawton, Oklahoma, and raised in northern Indiana, Christopher’s journey has been defined by curiosity, imagination, and a passion for bringing meaningful ideas to life.

From dreaming of being an astronaut at six to pursuing art, writing, and photography, Christopher has always had a creative spark. His path has taken him across the country, living in Pennsylvania, Vermont, New York, and Chicago, Illinois, with plans to move to the Greater Los Angeles area soon. Along the way, he’s traveled to 47 of the lower 48 states and explored the historic landmarks of Italy, including Naples, Rome, and Vatican City. However, Avalon on Santa Catalina Island, California, remains his favorite destination, offering a perfect mix of serenity and inspiration.

Christopher’s love for photography fuels his creative outlook, while his passion for sustainability and recycling drives his mission to create a brand that values both beauty and environmental responsibility. He combines these passions with a global perspective, reflected in his ability to speak parts of six languages and count to 1,000 in eight—a unique skill that showcases his lifelong love of learning.

Soon, Christopher will take on a new role as a pet parent, planning to adopt two kittens to join him on his next adventure. Though he isn’t a diehard sports fan, he enjoys cheering for the Chicago Cubs and embracing the shared excitement of game days.
